We are partnering with a dynamic manufacturing client looking for a SEC Reporting Accounting Manager. The SEC Reporting Accounting Manager oversees the day-to-day financial reporting process, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of SEC filings. Reporting to the Director of SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting, the Manager presents financial information for SEC filings, potential investors, creditors, and other stakeholders. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $125,000 to $150,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze quarterly and annual SEC filings, including financial statement footnotes, schedules, and MD&A, along with supporting documentation.
- Compile audit files, compliance reports, and statutory reporting materials.
- Contribute to system implementation and process improvement efforts.
- Assist the technical accounting team in analyzing complex transactions and determining appropriate accounting treatment and disclosures.
- Monitor internal controls related to financial reporting and equity awards.
- Generate and reconcile equity reports for financial and tax purposes across various jurisdictions, calculating stock-based compensation expenses.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience.
- CPA certification.
- Prior SEC filing experience in public accounting, a corporate role, or a combination.
