Advanced Practice Nurse Manager in Cardiac Critical Care Unit – Orlando

This position provides leadership to assigned Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRN) and Physician Assistants (PA), ensuring the delivery of high‑quality patient care. The manager oversees competency, professional development, and education of Advanced Practice Providers and aligns these efforts with departmental quality initiatives and goals. The role requires experience with continuous improvement, change management, and fiscal stewardship, and reports to the Department Chair. The manager collaborates with nursing leaders, practice leadership, office managers, Division Chiefs, and physicians, and models Nemours standards of behavior.

Requirements

• Active Florida APRN Licensure and appropriate national certification
• AHA BLS and AHA PALS
• At least 5 years of previous clinical ICU/Cardiac experience
• Three years of progressive leadership experience preferred
