Manager of BD Strategy, Litigation

We are seeking an experienced and resourceful Manager of Business Development Strategy to join the Strategy & Marketing Team. This individual will support the continued growth and success of our Litigation Business Unit and play a key role in the development and execution of strategic business development and marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Plan, support, and implement a broad array of business development activities to expand Pillsbury’s business and reputation.
• Work with the Director of Business Development Strategy and colleagues across the platform.
• Advise lawyers on effective client pitch strategies.
• Conduct research and analysis.
• Create compelling proposals and pitch materials.
• Manage strategic events.
• Complete lawyer directory submissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field.
• Minimum of five years of relevant experience in professional services or law firm business development.
• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Team player, collegial, collaborative attributes.
• Self-starter who thrives on juggling numerous high-visibility projects on fast timetables and can handle high-pressure environments.
• Strong to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and some knowledge of applications specific to the legal field.

Location: Washington DC office. Pay range: $170,000 – $180,000 (Washington DC and New York).
