Job Summary & Responsibilities

As our Nursing Manager, you will be a dynamic leader, guiding and empowering our nursing team to deliver exceptional, patient‑centered care through continuous growth and operational excellence.

Every day, you will lead and mentor Registered Nurses, oversee clinical operations, and advocate for patient and team needs, driving professional development and achieving unit goals.

To be successful in this role, you will embody accountability and confidence with superior communication skills for all interactions. You’ll skillfully navigate challenges, ensuring individual performance and overall unit success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manages the operations and services of the Cancer Center, facilitates multi‑disciplinary programs to develop standards of care in clinical pathways, and ensures departmental competency and compliance with all regulatory, accreditation and hospital standards of care.
  • Prepares and justifies annual budgeting, maintains effective staffing plans, determines productive and non‑productive expenditures, and manages non‑labor expense requirements. Coordinates capital equipment budget in collaboration with medical staff, explores revenue enhancement activities, and manages the department budget within fiscal‑year approved targets.
  • Participates in planning, development and implementation of organizational operational and strategic goals. Develops, implements and monitors department safety management programs, and creates business and marketing plans to advance the service line.
  • Responsible for staffing and performance management of staff. Monitors productivity and quality to maintain compliance with all regulatory standards, provides feedback to staff, and maintains workload.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent education and experience, upon hire.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience.
  • One (1) year of leadership experience.
  • Registered Nurse: CA license, upon hire.
  • Basic Life Support – CPR, upon hire.

Pay Range

$60.90 - $92.69 /hour
