About the Team

Fanatics Collectibles is a new company working at the intersection of collectibles and technology. We are backed by some of the best investors, sports & entertainment properties and operators in the world. Fanatics Collectibles is integrating with Fanatics’ global digital sports platform – which includes 900 sports relationships and >81 million reachable fans – to reimagine the collectibles business for the 21st century.

Summary:

Fanatics Collectibles is looking for a Manager, Licensing & Partnerships, to support the highest priority, highest complexity, and highest visibility initiatives on our organization’s strategic roadmap. Strong candidates can expect to “rotate” across projects in the operations organization, gain exposure and tackle key business objectives. The ideal candidate is a highly flexible self-starter with top-notch analytical skills, can manage cross-functional teams effectively and demonstrates propensity for solving difficult problems. Candidates with a passion for sports, culture, and entertainment will likely find themselves a strong cultural fit.

What you will be doing...

Partner Management

  • Support and drive relationship management with existing partners
  • Facilitate regular meetings and updates with internal and external stakeholders to keep all relevant parties informed about product updates, timelines, approvals, and marketing initiatives
  • Develop and monitor licensor approval processes to ensure successful product timelines. Work closely with the product team to identify additional areas of opportunity to refine this process
  • Support partner adoption of key product initiatives such as the Debut Patch. Help develop materials (e.g., pitch decks) to drive adoption
  • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the partnership management process
  • Help define and refine our partnership strategy, including identifying new opportunities, areas to reduce costs, and identify areas to improve efficiencies
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decision-making and new license opportunities
  • Help shape the overall business strategy based on partner insights and industry knowledge

Performance Measurement

  • Define and measure key metrics to track the growth of each licensor
  • Regularly assess the performance of partners and key initiatives, making data-driven recommendations for improvements

Project Management & Implementation

  • Internal communication & management: help ensure that all relevant teams within the organization (Marketing, Product, Comms, Sales) are aware of and understand the key terms of each license agreement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive key initiatives (such as Debut Patch adoption & MVP buyback program) and help ensure successful execution
  • Refine processes to streamline communication, contract management, and project execution with existing partners
  • Day-to-day lead on managing inquiries around licensing Topps IP

What you will bring...

  • 5-7 years of experience, with a preference for Management Consulting, Project management, Strategy, Finance / Accounting, or Biz Ops roles
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, accounting or similar preferred
  • Strong quantitative modeling & analytical skills, excellent written & verbal communication skills, strong financial acumen
  • Team-first mindset, with a passion for solving highly complex problems together
  • Ability to handle a multi-tasking environment, meet deadlines, and work across a wide range of high priority initiatives
  • Confidence, intellectual curiosity, ability cut through ambiguity, and a desire to learn

The salary range represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation. This salary range is specific to New York City and may not be applicable to other locations.
