Manager, IS Imaging and Ancillary Applications

Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing strategies in support of PACS, RIS, CVIS, Nuclear Medicine and ancillary systems, including interfaces with upstream and downstream systems.
- Acting as a strategic business partner to physicians and operations to identify gaps and solutions for both small and large‑scale initiatives.
- Overseeing the activities of PACS administrators, system administrators, program analysts, and other technical and professional staff, setting priorities, enforcing methodologies and standards, coordinating resources, and responding to user issues.
- Managing budgeting, issue management, resource management, and project management activities.
- Ensuring that all HR requirements are met.
Qualifications
- Strong technical and clinical knowledge of imaging department workflows.
- Comprehensive working knowledge of PACS, RIS, and other image processing systems (e.g., PowerScribe).
- Experience with project management software such as Apollo and health software like McKesson, and comprehensive knowledge of interfaces in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of HIPAA, security, and compliance regulations.
- Strong technical, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Project management experience, with the ability to manage timelines and tasks.
- Ability to create and deliver presentations to the executive level.
- Adaptability to change and engagement with others in a team environment.
- Ability to work with and communicate to a diverse workforce at all levels.
- Demonstrated skill in and understanding of data standards and interfaces.
- Skill in delegating tasks and holding the team accountable.
