Manager, Inside Sales & Customer Support

Bradley Professional is seeking an experienced Manager of Inside Sales & Customer Support for a manufacturing client in Thomasville, NC.

This hands-on leadership position will oversee two Inside Sales Representatives and one Sales Support Coordinator while driving sales performance, strengthening customer relationships, and ensuring efficient sales operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales leadership, account management, and customer service, with the ability to develop employees, improve processes, and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the Inside Sales and Customer Support team, establishing clear goals and performance expectations.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers, dealers, distributors, and fleet organizations.
• Identify opportunities to grow accounts and support new business development.
• Oversee quoting, pricing, order processing, customer follow-up, and sales activities.
• Monitor sales pipelines, open quotes, customer projects, and team performance.
• Ensure accurate reporting, documentation, and order tracking within ERP and CRM systems.
• Collaborate with Outside Sales, Operations, Engineering, and Transportation to resolve customer concerns and ensure timely delivery.
• Establish and track sales KPIs, prepare reports, and provide updates to executive leadership.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer service, operational efficiency, and overall sales performance.

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years of experience in sales, inside sales, account management, or customer support.
• Previous supervisory or sales management experience strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience with quoting, pricing, order management, and customer relationship management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with ERP/CRM systems.
• Experience in commercial vehicles, truck bodies, fleet equipment, manufacturing, or industrial products highly desirable.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
