US Team Lead With Cboe Global Indices (CGI)The CGI team currently researches, designs, and implements new index strategies supporting both Cboe's branded indices and client-owned indices. Manager of Index Operations coordinates the daily calculation, maintenance, and validation of CGI's indices in the US, including client interaction, error handling, presenting to index committees, and evaluating and building validation tools to ensure compliance with control framework. This role is primarily focused on derivatives and will additionally provide exposure to equities.Duties and Responsibilities:Manage and expand team of index analysts in multiple officesCalculate CGI's US suite of indices, covering options and equity, as well as customized calculationsDive into calculation challenges, confirming accuracy or evaluating and fixing calculation issues be it modeling, data, or methodology updatesSupport Theoretical Options Pricing Service (TOPS) including onboarding, client support, and process enhancementResponsible for team running index validations and quality assurance checks, currently focused on scripting in Python and ROnboard new indices from implementation team, including methodology evaluation for operational feasibility and appropriate validationsParticipate in index committee meetings to set direction for index methodology enhancements, including suggesting and assisting with market consultationsHelp establish index calculation standards and quality assurance to enable repeat application of calculation modulesParticipate in client meetings to show robustness of CGI calculationsWork collaboratively with other Cboe departments on new index and benchmark launches, leading the post-launch support functionWork on enhancement initiatives to support robust and scalable processes in line with established control frameworkParticipate in regular incident review and internal postmortem, suggesting and implementing process improvementExperience:Minimum of 5 years options, equity, financial indexing and/or financial markets experience in a related capacity.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $135,575-$175,450, with actual compensation determined by job-related factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal alignment, and location.
