Hybrid Full Time Finance

Role Overview

Finance professional supporting Rockford Engine Control Systems operations financial reporting. This hybrid role is located in Rockford, IL and requires U.S. citizenship or lawful U.S. residence. The successful candidate will work with multiple functional areas—Operations, Quality, Planning and Product Line—and provide timely, accurate financial data to support management decisions. Salary range: USD107,500–204,500.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the point of contact for operations finance matters, including SIOP and Quality.
  • Execute monthly and quarterly financial closing processes, including journal entries, supplemental data collection, and forecast preparation.
  • Lead all financial planning and analysis activities for operations—developing short- and long-term financial plans, forecasts, and operational metrics.
  • Conduct financial planning and analysis for capital expenditures across Rockford Engine Control Systems, preparing short- and long-term plans and forecasts.
  • Prepare inventory analysis and forecasts in collaboration with the Planning Manager and Operations team.
  • Produce monthly account reconciliations and reports for management on factory metrics and operational expenditures.
  • Provide ad hoc reporting and financial analysis as requested by management.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial and business controls, including Sarbanes‑Oxley documentation and testing, Government accounting requirements, DCMA/DCAA audits, and internal RTX audits.

Qualifications

Minimum of 8 years relevant experience or an advanced degree with 5 years of experience in the field. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SAP or a comparable ERP system, and advanced functions such as VLOOKUP and PivotTables. Experience in a manufacturing environment and with planning/consolidation systems such as OneStream is preferred. Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills are essential.
