Position Summary

Orion is searching for a Manager to join our Client Strategy team. In this role, you will be leading and overseeing all internal and external communications. The Manager supports the Client Business Partner and/or Director on the team in new business, renewals, project management, and pipeline management, as well as in managing and growing existing relationships with agency partners and clients. You will be involved with training and mentoring junior members of the team to solidify their understanding of Orion’s purpose and mission to drive client value through innovative solutions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Cultivate strong client/agency relationships and work with Client Business Partner on successful execution of all facets of account management functions leading to long‑term client retention
  • Maximize client billings and contribution towards Orion revenue goals
  • Execute several quick‑turnaround deliverables, introductory and informative presentations, compiling Orion collateral documents for new business efforts, proposals, etc.
  • Manage daily account maintenance with agency partners, including leading status meetings for Orion with agency partners
  • Manage communication of financial reporting to clients as well as internal forecasting for all media types based on specific client activity
  • Assist with new business needs & competitive analysis
  • Oversee junior team members who will manage and track status reports and media deliverables
  • Aid in coordination with legal and finance to negotiate contract terms and agreements with clients
  • Manage media evaluation process with internal Orion teams and external AOR teams

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must have 3 - 4 years of relevant work experience (sales, media, advertising, or client services/strategy experience preferred)
  • Must have the ability to manage a large variety and large number of accounts and consistently meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal skills, and superior attention to detail
  • Ability to be a team player and exhibit leadership skills
  • Must possess strong proficiency with Microsoft Desktop software, specifically, Word, Excel and PowerPoint (pivot tables, Vlookup)

  • Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Persuasive and possess solid business instincts and diplomatic skills
  • Candidate will enjoy working in a collaborative and innovative environment

The salary range for this position is posted below.
