Manager Business Management 2Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Manager Business Management 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC) Business Management organization. This leadership role is located in Palmdale, CA or Rancho Bernardo, CA and is an onsite position.This is a dynamic role supporting a large operating unit in a challenging, fast-paced environment. The Business Management Manager will be responsible for the integration and oversight of all Business Management efforts including new business pursuits, business acquisition processes, compliance, funding analysis, financial analysis, earned value management analysis, internal audits, and business case scenarios.

The Manager is also responsible for working with the Program Office to ensure accurate, time sensitive reporting and briefing to leadership.Specific duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:Support proposal preparation, fact-finding and contract negotiations on a major capture as needed to ensure business management issues are represented as necessaryWork with Business as well as Integrated Product Teams on assigned responsibilities, including Internal and external customer interactions, EVMS implementation and analysis, or CAM duties as required; support and guidance to PMs and CAMs; inputs and knowledge of contracts; analysis and review of EACs and variance analysis research and reportingFocus team on achieving uncompromising quality in all products and services, accountability, meeting financial goals, and team performanceEnsure team fully understands their roles and impact on financial resultsAct as primary point of contact with Program Manager counterpart and maintain a positive working relationship to improve communication and stay on top of any potential cost issuesBasic Qualifications:Must either have a bachelor's Degree from an accredited university and 7 years finance/business management work experience or a master's degree from an accredited university and 3 years finance/business management work experience or a PhD from an accredited university and 3 years finance/business management work experienceExperience in Government ContractingExperience developing and presenting business strategies, financial information, and risk assessments to leadership teamsMust have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needsPreferred Qualifications:Experience working major capture effortsExperience leading a team, either as a lead, functional manager, or matrix managerExperience interfacing with government audit agencies such as DCMA and DCAA, as well as Internal AuditDoD Secret Security ClearancePrimary Level Salary Range: $133,100.00 - $199,700.00. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.

Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
