Management And Program Analyst
As a Management and Program Analyst, GS- , you will be responsible for:
- Analyzing, developing, and evaluating detailed plans, goals, and objectives for long-range implementation of an assigned major program or project. Establishing metric and analysis systems for assigned projects to assess efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance with established requirements and guidance. Determining appropriate recommendations for problems and performs follow-up actions as necessary.
- Gathering and analyzing data to prepare a variety of reports and to provide advice and guidance to management, supervisors, and/or employees as required. Preparing budget-related reports, responses to queries, validations, and background papers. Developing and presenting recommendations to leadership to aid in effectiveness of the assigned program/project.
- Compiling and coordinating submission of budget-related data and responses to organizations, including the Office of Management and Budget and Congress. Preparing briefing materials, conducts briefings, provides ongoing communications, and represents the organization on issues within an assigned program or project. Developing, reviewing, and editing draft documents for substantive and technical accuracy, making corrections to both format and content to ensure the materials meet established criteria.

Establishing and maintaining metric and analysis systems for assigned projects to assess efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance with established requirements and guidance. Tracking project or program efforts and works with project managers to solve barriers to work, including tracking technical, budget, schedule, or other resource issues.
- Identifying, gathering, developing, and analyzing data to compile and coordinate submission of data and responses to organizations, including to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and Congress. Preparing budget-related reports, responses to queries, validations, and background papers. Developing and presenting recommendations to leadership to aid in effectiveness of the assigned program or project.
- Reviewing and coordinating program budget requests, justifications, and other financial planning documents that are fully defensible and adhere to policies, and regulations. Preparing briefing materials, conducts briefings, providing ongoing communications, and representing the organization on issues within an assigned program or project. Developing, reviewing, and editing draft documents for substantive and technical accuracy, making necessary corrections to both format and content to ensure the materials meet established criteria.
