Management And Program Analyst (Cancer Program Manager)
The duties of the Management and Program Analyst include but are not limited to:
- Plans and develops priorities, standards and working guides, and recommends policy changes.
- Submits recommendations for changes to simplify operations, reduce patient inconvenience, improve efficiency and quality of operations.
- Establishment of operating procedures, guidance documents, and reporting procedure for all cancer related programs.
- Communicates with a wide variety of professionals, Program Managers, and Service Chiefs either written or orally using extensive understanding of applicable medical terminology as it relates to diagnosis, staging, classification and treatment of cancer.
- Provides oversight of any data submission, performs auditing activities, patient record editing if required based on State, National, VA National Oncology Data Program/ VA Central Cancer Registry (VACCR) requirements, and CoC standards.
- Designs, oversees, and conducts audits of the case ascertainment and data curation processes to ensure high quality complex data, accurate work, productivity expectations, and compliance with guidelines
Preferred Experience: Interpreting and managing cancer program data.
Work Schedule: Monday thru Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm
