Management Analyst SME
The Management Analyst SME reports to and receives work direction from the Project Manager and will provide support that includes the following activities:
- Responsible for handling requests requiring researching problem areas, drafting reports or other documents, inputting, deleting, retrieving, manipulating, and correcting information in automated databases or electronic records
- Prepare and present service or joint correspondence
- Prepare strategic documents for executive level approval
- Prepare strategic communications strategy for executive level approval
- Consult with non-technical audiences on technical problems, work in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment, and balance long- and short-term tasks
- Develop and maintain personal and professional contacts with senior civilian and military leaders and officials within DoD
- Lead groups, negotiate compromises, and influence key leaders, customers and stakeholders involving problems or policy issues
- Prepare correspondence, read ahead, reports, and other written materials for senior DOD officials
- Work with stakeholders to adjudicate input to decision packages, resolve conflicts regarding oversight and governance processes within the organization
- Write briefings, decision memorandums, and other materials for senior DoD leadership
- Responsible for project team manning and performance
- Participate in headquarters meetings and functions related to contract execution and project management duties
- Perform other related duties incidental to the work described
Education
- Post-Graduate Degree required
- Attendance at Top Level School desired
Experience
- Prior experience in a Pentagon staff / action officer position
- Experience with classified information to include derivative classification requirements, original classification authority processes, and the process for declassifying information
- 20+ years of experience working in the Department of Defense

Working Conditions
- Required to sit for extended periods of time and maintain focus
Special Position Notations
- Requires 5% - 10% travel
- Extended workdays and weekend work may be required
Security Clearance
- A Secret security clearance is required for this position
Estimated Compensation
- $75,000-$175,000
