Mammography Technologist— San Diego, CA

Join a team supporting diagnostic imaging with a consistent Monday–Friday schedule. This role offers a clear hourly pay rate of $56.00 with a comprehensive W-2 benefits package and weekly pay via direct deposit.

Location: San Diego, California

Tentative Start Date: 08/10/2026

End Date/Duration: 1 year minimum with options to extend

Shift: Days (8-hour shifts), Monday–Friday day shift

License/Certs: ARRT; current AHA or ARC BLS Healthcare Provider

Experience: 1 year of experience within the last 2 years as a Mammography Tech

Hourly Pay Rate: $56.00

11 paid federal holidays in addition at $2.24/hr up to 40 hours/week

H&W benefits in addition at $5.09/hr up to 40 hours/week

What You'll Do

Perform routine diagnostic radiological procedures/services as appropriate to the tasking/TO.

Position patients correctly and make technical adjustments for required examinations; determine special patient preparation needs.

Process digital images and submit appropriate image series for radiologist interpretation per protocol.

Adhere to radiation safety policies and procedures; perform system warm-ups, calibrations, and quality control tasks per manufacturer and facility policy/regulations.

Document procedures and maintain required records, including arrival/departure/completed tests.

Assist with ultrasound-guided and stereotactic biopsies and perform post-biopsy imaging (as required).

Recognize artifacts/equipment errors and notify designated personnel; initiate repair call procedures and record issues in the trouble log.

Recognize and respond to symptoms related to contrast media reactions and institute necessary emergency measures when required.

What You Need Required

ARRT certification

Current AHA or ARC BLS Healthcare Provider certification

1 year of experience within the last 2 years as a Mammography Tech

Ability to pass a Government background check/security clearance

Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited radiologic technology program
