Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Radiologic Mammography Technologist with Dignity Health Medical Foundation, now part of CommonSpirit Health, you will perform mammographic imaging procedures in outpatient clinics. You will assist in preparing patients for Radiologic/Mammography examinations, relay instructions from the radiologist, help capture usable diagnostic images, and document patient concerns and care provided in the medical record for the radiologist’s review. You will troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain radiology equipment to avoid equipment failures. You may be required to occasionally work at other locations within the Greater Sacramento Area as needed. We are offering a sign-on bonus to eligible new hires.

Job Requirements
Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Satisfactory completion of a formal AMA school of Radiologic Technology or equivalent to an AMA Technologic program.
- Must be licensed by the State of California in CRT & Mammography. Candidates in the process of obtaining CA licensure may be considered; however CA license must be verified prior to start date.
- Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA BLS).
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills are essential.
- Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy and physiology for imaging, proper operation and care of radiology diagnostic equipment, and radiation safety is required.
Preferred:
- At least one (1) year of experience as a Radiologic/Mammography Technologist.
- Six (6) months experience in an outpatient environment.
- Certification in Mammography through ARRT.
- Medical terminology and familiarity with an electronic practice management system and PACS.
