Short Description
- Directs daily activities within the department.
- Facilitates employee orientation and training.
- Performs area specific QA/QC procedures.
- Performs radiographic procedures in accordance with the ALARA concept.
- Assists physicians with radiographic procedures.
- Perform various operations using radiographic and associated equipment.
- Assures maintenance of all radiographic and associated equipment.
Experience Required
Minimum of 3 years clinical experience; biennial completion of minimum required CE credits to maintain required certification/accreditation
Education Requirements
High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
Certificate of completion/Degree from an Accredited Radiograph Program
License/Certification Requirements
- Must be licensed by the NJDEPE and credentialed in radiograph and mammography by the ARRT.
- Current ARRT - American Registry Radiology Tech License.
- Current NJ-RADTECH - NJ Radiology Tech License.
- BLS certification through AHA
