Base pay range

$53.00/hr - $63.00/hr

Location: New Berlin, Wisconsin

Pay: $2,526/week (for travelers residing 50+ miles from the facility)

Start Date: 06/30 or 07/07

Schedule: Monday – Friday (start times vary between 7:30 AM – 8:30 AM)

Saturday Rotation: Every 6 weeks (7:00 AM – 1:00 PM )

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Mammography Technologist for a full-time travel contract assignment in New Berlin, WI. This role involves working across multiple locations. The ideal candidate has a strong background in screening mammography, excellent patient care skills, and is a team player.

Responsibilities:

Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms per departmental protocols.
Operate mammography equipment safely and effectively.
Ensure patient comfort and address concerns before, during, and after procedures.
Prepare exam rooms, maintain cleanliness, and manage inventory.
Archive images to PACS and reconcile exams accurately.
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and care teams to ensure diagnostic quality.
Assist in quality control procedures, scheduling, and patient instruction.
Document all exams and procedures in EPIC and Radiant systems.

Requirements:

Required: Completion of an ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology program.
Preferred: 1+ years of experience in mammography.
Certifications:
ARRT (M) – Required within 12 months of hire.
BLS (AHA approved) – Required within 90 days of hire.
Strong communication, teamwork, and patient service skills.
Diagnostic mammography experience preferred.

Additional Notes:

This is a travel position. Local candidates (within 50 miles) are not eligible for this rate.
Candidate must be open to working across three clinic locations as scheduled.
Must be able to take and pass a drug screen and compliance requirements.
