Work Location: McKinney, TX
Work Hours: Full‑Time, Monday‑Friday 8:00am‑4:30pm, occasionally 7:00am‑3:30pm. (One Saturday shift required every other month).
The Mammography Technologist operates x‑ray equipment and performs a variety of mammography‑related diagnostic procedures. The individual must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique.

Here Is What You Will Need
- Texas Medical Board License - TMB
- Current ARRT in Mammography certification or eligible to take advanced level exam with documentation of clinical experience.
- Completion of a two‑year approved School of Radiologic Technology
- Continuing Education: MQSA/FDA - 15 CEU’s every 3 years, 200‑documented case numbers every 2 years.
- Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred.
A Day In The Life Of a Mammography Technologist
Provide services and support for the following areas:
- Completion of a formal radiologic technology training program and hold current certification by ARRT in Radiography;
- ARRT advanced level certification in mammography with documentation of clinical experience, or
- MQSA qualified and (M) registry eligible;
- Current on all required continuing education and continuing experience as required by MQSA and ARRT;
- High School Diploma; Associates degree preferred;
- Must possess non‑restricted licensure in state work location;
- Knowledge of database software, RIS/PACS software is preferred;
- Two years of experience in mammography is preferred;
- Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred;
- Prior quality control experience preferred;
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology;
