As a Mammography Technologist at Logan Health, you will provide diagnostic imaging services on a mobile mammography coach, ensuring patient comfort and accurate imaging while utilizing state‑of‑the‑art technology. The role may progress from a PRN position to full time.

Position Summary

• Mobile Mammography Coach serving the Hi‑Line region
• PRN – Scheduled As Needed with potential for full time
• X‑ray Technologists encouraged to apply; training in mammography will be provided

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
  • Current ARRT certification
  • Valid Montana State Radiologic Technologist license
  • BLS certification
  • Mammography certification preferred; required to be obtained within six (6) months of hire
  • Minimum one (1) year experience as a Mammography Technologist preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for the past thirty‑six (36) months; personal vehicle must carry state‑minimum liability insurance if used for Logan Health business

Breast Sonography Qualifications

  • ARDMS certification required
  • One (1) year experience preferred in quality control, breast sonography, or stereotactic biopsies

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Self‑motivated with critical thinking and prioritization abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Responsibilities

  • Identify and prepare patients for mammography exams, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort
  • Obtain and document patient history and exam information accurately
  • Perform mammography imaging and process images for radiologist review
  • Complete all required documentation according to departmental protocols
  • Explain exam results and available options to patients
  • Perform arrival, end‑of‑day, and next‑day preparation duties per department procedures
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, including stocking and inventory control
  • Assist with quality assurance activities and accreditation preparation for ACR and FDA
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development related to mammography
