Summary
Leads mammography team members by demonstrating and providing advanced knowledge of job responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide monitoring, coaching, and evaluation of team members' performance, especially in productivity and quality management.
- Serve as a positive role model, promoting teamwork and cooperation.
- Assist with coordinating services, prioritizing assignments and workflow, and promoting situational decision‑making/problem solving.
- Perform responsibilities of the underlying job and provide guidance to team members on handling complex or novel issues.
- Oversee equipment quality control testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Apply critical thinking, decisive judgment, and minimal supervision in a fast‑paced environment.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
- Registered as a Technologist (RT) and certified in mammography (M) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience.
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in hand before start date.
- BLS or CPR card must remain valid through the first sixty days of hire.
