Mammography Technologist in Acampo, CA

Exciting opportunity for a skilled Mammo Tech to support imaging services in a dynamic healthcare environment. This 13-week contract focuses on providing high-quality mammography imaging to patients, supporting early detection and patient care. The position is ideal for detail-oriented professionals dedicated to patient safety and imaging excellence.
Schedule:

• 5 shifts per week (Monday through Friday)
• 8-hour days, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Qualifications:

• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• ARRT(M) (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Mammography)
• MRT (Mammography Radiologic Technologist) certification
• Active California Radiologic Technologist License
• Previous experience performing mammograms in a clinical setting required
• Excellent communication skills and patient-focused attitude

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality mammography imaging for screening and diagnostic purposes
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout imaging procedures
• Verify patient identity and update medical records accurately
• Set up and operate mammography imaging equipment in compliance with regulatory standards
• Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare team members
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any issues for prompt resolution
• Adhere to infection control, safety policies, and quality assurance guidelines
