Job Summary
The University Medical Associates (UMA) is seeking an experienced radiologic technologist to perform high‑quality mammography images and biopsy procedures, ultrasound images, and bone‑density scans for physician interpretation in a fast‑paced outpatient ambulatory setting. The candidate will also provide support for other outreach sites as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Perform mammography, ultrasound, and bone‑density imaging according to American College of Radiology (ACR) standards.
- Conduct biopsy procedures with precision and patient care.
- Maintain high customer service standards in an outpatient setting.
- Provide support to additional outreach sites as required.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- At least two years of independent mammography experience.
- Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and certification in mammography.
- Licensed by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or an equivalent.
- Fully competent in advanced modality skill sets and flexible to rotate among modalities.
