Mammography Technologist II

Job Summary

The University Medical Associates (UMA) is seeking an experienced radiologic technologist to perform high‑quality mammography images and biopsy procedures, ultrasound images, and bone‑density scans for physician interpretation in a fast‑paced outpatient ambulatory setting. The candidate will also provide support for other outreach sites as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography, ultrasound, and bone‑density imaging according to American College of Radiology (ACR) standards.
• Conduct biopsy procedures with precision and patient care.
• Maintain high customer service standards in an outpatient setting.
• Provide support to additional outreach sites as required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• At least two years of independent mammography experience.
• Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and certification in mammography.
• Licensed by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or an equivalent.
• Fully competent in advanced modality skill sets and flexible to rotate among modalities.
