Mammography Technologist
The Mammography Technologist provides excellent patient care by producing and evaluating screening and diagnostic general x-ray and mammography images as ordered by the referring physician. The successful candidate is a "super user" on JR X‑Ray and Mammography equipment and demonstrates competency in mammography examinations and patient care.
Position Summary
In this role, the technologist will deliver high‑quality imaging services, maintain equipment, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Desired Professional Skills and Experience
- Connecticut State Radiologic License – required
- ARRT Certification – required
- CPR (BLS) Certification – required
- ARRT Mammography certification – preferred. If not certified at hire, must obtain certification within 12 months from hire or 6 months from becoming board eligible.
- Bachelor's degree in a science‑related field and experience/training in Bone Densitometry – preferred.
- Experience with radiology information systems – preferred.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.

Compensation
Pay range: $37.00 – $49.50 per hour.
