Schedule: Part Time | Days | 8-4:30 Monday, Thursday, Friday
What You Will Do
- Deliver Precision Imaging: Accurately operate state‑of‑the‑art mammography equipment and expertly position patients to ensure the capture of high‑quality diagnostic images.
- Champion Patient Education: Clearly explain procedures and patiently educate individuals on the vital role of regular screenings and preventive breast health, fostering a comfortable and informed experience.
- Ensure Quality and Compliance: Maintain the highest standards for image technical quality (density, contrast, definition), strictly adhere to all radiation safety protocols, and ensure accurate, timely submission of images and patient data to PACS.
What You Will Need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- One or more of the following required:
- Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Mammography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job‑specific experience required.
Additional Preferences
- ultrasound experience preferred but not necessary
