Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of tasks involving the operation of mammographic equipment and other equipment/devices in adherence to established company policies and protocols.
- Produce high quality diagnostic images in a timely manner while providing excellent patient care.
- Understand and use compression, exposure modes, filter, KvP, Mas, grid selection, focal spot size, AEC selection, photo cell selection and other adjustments to produce high quality images.
- Monitor patients’ well-being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
- Guide patients through the procedure by explaining steps and answering questions regarding exam procedures and processes.
- Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
- Demonstrate competency in safeguarding patient property and Patient Health Information.
- Safeguard on-site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and legal requirements.
- Demonstrate respect for company property, including cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
- Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers; be responsive to the needs of others.
- Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
- Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
- Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have
- ARRT(R)(M) certification
- State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology
- Must have BLS certification
- At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred

Pay Range: $34.00 - $55.00 per hour
