When you join us as a Mammography Technologist, you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21st century and align all stakeholders—patients, providers, payors, and regulators—to achieve the best clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of tasks involving the operation of mammographic equipment and other equipment/devices in adherence to established company policies and protocols.
  • Produce high quality diagnostic images in a timely manner while providing excellent patient care.
  • Understand and use compression, exposure modes, filter, KvP, Mas, grid selection, focal spot size, AEC selection, photo cell selection and other adjustments to produce high quality images.
  • Monitor patients’ well-being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
  • Guide patients through the procedure by explaining steps and answering questions regarding exam procedures and processes.
  • Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
  • Demonstrate competency in safeguarding patient property and Patient Health Information.
  • Safeguard on-site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and legal requirements.
  • Demonstrate respect for company property, including cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
  • Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers; be responsive to the needs of others.
  • Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
  • Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
  • Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have

  • ARRT(R)(M) certification
  • State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology
  • Must have BLS certification
  • At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred

Pay Range: $34.00 - $55.00 per hour
