Salary range:$1,431.20 – $2,072.80 gross per week (based on 40 hours)

Days:10-hour shifts...... 7am-530pm or 730a-6pm. Every 3rd Saturday. No holidays, Sundays, and no on-call.

The Mammography Technician actively participates in the performance of specialized radiographic imaging procedures which assist the radiologists in the diagnosis and treatment of medical disorders.

Responsibilities

Under general supervision of the Director of Radiology Services, the Mammographer actively participates in the performance of specialized radiographic imaging procedures which assist the radiologists in the diagnosis and treatment of medical disorders. The Mammographer will participate in direct patient care, facility quality and safety initiatives as well as local and federal regulations. Assist with complex and sensitive patient and patient family issues. Ensures quality and safe delivery of care to patients of all ages.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. nLicensure and/or fluoroscopy permit as required by State.2. Current ARRT certification. nn

2. nAdvanced certification in the field of Mammography.nn

3. nCurrent experience as a radiology technologist.nn

4. nStrong verbal, written, and communication skills.nn

5. nCurrent BCLS (AHA) certification.nn

6. nComprehensive Knowledge of Federal, State and Local regulatory standards.nn
n
7. nAbility to travel to all imaging facilities both regularly and without notice.nn
n
8. nExperience in Hospital Information Services (HIS)/Radiology Information System (RIS).nn

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $36 to $55.
