Mammography Technologist

We are partnering with a premier healthcare organization in the Atlanta market to hire a full-time, permanent Mammography Technologist . This opportunity offers the chance to join a collaborative breast imaging team dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and advancing women's health through early detection and high-quality imaging services.

Responsibilities:

• Perform mammography exams and assist with breast-related invasive procedures.
• Assess patient needs by reviewing physician orders, medical history, and diagnostic information.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
• Practice radiation safety and ensure compliance with departmental and regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures and care plans.
• Document procedures and patient care activities accurately and thoroughly.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development.
• Support and mentor students, new staff, and less experienced technologists as needed.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
• Advanced Mammography Certification (ARRT-M) required.
• Minimum of two years of radiologic technology experience, including at least one year of mammography experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
