Mammography Technologist Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Mammographic Procedures : Conduct accurate and high-quality mammography exams in accordance with facility protocols and safety standards.
• Patient Care : Provide compassionate care by guiding patients through procedures, addressing questions, and ensuring comfort.
• Equipment Operation & Maintenance : Operate mammography equipment safely and ensure it is maintained according to regulatory standards.
• Image Quality Assurance : Assess images for quality, clarity, and accuracy, and collaborate with radiologists to ensure diagnostic standards.

Mammography Technologist Qualifications:

• Education : Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program with specialization in mammography.
• Certification : ARRT (M) certification required.
• Licensing : Valid state Radiologic Technologist license, if required.
• Experience : Previous experience in mammography preferred, but new graduates with strong clinical skills are encouraged to apply.
• Skills : Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
