Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Mammography Supervisor to lead our team of technologists in delivering high-quality breast imaging services. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and provide training and guidance to the mammography team.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor a team of mammography technologists.
- Ensure proper patient positioning, quality imaging, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor compliance with state and federal regulations (e.g., MQSA, ACR accreditation).
- Assist with patient scheduling and workflow management.
- Collaborate with radiologists to review imaging results and ensure timely reporting.
- Provide ongoing training and development for staff.
- Maintain equipment functionality and troubleshoot issues as needed.
Qualifications:
- ARRT required; Mammography certification required.
- 3+ years of mammography experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of mammography imaging, equipment, and quality standards.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
