Mammography Radiologic Technologist job in Oakland, California: join a patient-focused outpatient imaging team providing women's health services, screening mammograms, and diagnostic breast imaging across multiple Bay Area locations.
Job Details

• Location: Oakland, CA 94609
• Setting: Outpatient imaging and mammography
• Start Date: 09/14/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Day shift, 8-hour shifts
• Hours per Week: 40
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,490 - $2,670
• Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, with every other weekend/approximately 1 Saturday per month
• Float/Location Coverage: Multiple imaging locations, including a mobile unit

Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of mammography technologist or radiologic technologist experience required
• ARRT certification required
• BLS certification required
• CRT and California State Mammography Licensure required
• Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology
• Experience with Epic charting preferred/required
• Ability to perform screening and diagnostic mammograms with confidence
• Experience with digital mammography and Hologic 3D technology
• Strong attention to detail, patient communication skills, and commitment to quality breast imaging care

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography exams, including screening and diagnostic breast imaging procedures
• Support high-quality women's health and outpatient imaging services for adult patients
• Work across multiple Bay Area locations and adapt to varying daily assignments
• Operate digital mammography and Hologic 3D equipment
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic
• Follow universal precautions and established imaging protocols
• Deliver compassionate patient care while helping patients feel comfortable throughout the exam process
• Collaborate with the imaging team to support smooth daily operations
