Mammography/ CT Technologist - Alaska

A healthcare facility in Southeast Alaska is looking for a Mammography / CT Technologist to join its diagnostic imaging team!

• Permanent, full-time position

• Day shift

• Opportunity to work across multiple imaging modalities, including Mammography, CT, and general radiography

• Some on-call coverage required, with a 20-minute response time

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

• Conduct screening and diagnostic mammography procedures, including breast localization and biopsy-related imaging.

• Perform CT imaging procedures and assist with interventional examinations.

• Maintain imaging equipment, patient records, and quality control standards.

• Follow radiation safety guidelines and departmental protocols.

• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care.

• Maintain competency across assigned imaging modalities.

• ARRT certification in Radiography required

• Minimum 1 year of experience

• Ability to perform diagnostic imaging examinations within assigned modalities

• Experience or competency in Mammography and CT

• BLS certification required within 45 days of starting

• Clinical competency assessment required within 3 months of hire

• Willingness to participate in on-call coverage and work across imaging modalities as needed

• Ability to provide compassionate patient care in a variety of clinical situations
