Mammographer

The Department of Radiology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, affiliated with NYC H+H/Queens, is seeking a highly motivated Mammographer for full or part-time positions. This role involves joining an energetic team at an acute care facility that is part of the largest municipal healthcare system in the country, serving a culturally diverse patient population. The successful candidate will contribute to a designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, utilizing state-of-the-art imaging technology.

Practice Info

• The Mammography and Women's Imaging Department at QHC performs approximately 11,000 Mammogram studies per year and approximately 1,100 biopsies per year.
• The Radiology Department has 2 state-of-the-art 3-D Hologic Dimension machines, one Hologic stereotactic machine, two 128 slice CT scanners, a Pet/CT scanner, a 1.5 Tesla MRI, ultrasound, Diagnostic x-rays/Fluoroscopy suites, and Nuclear medicine.
• The candidate will be joining two Full-time Mammographers.
• The Women's department is supported by 2 Nurses, 3 technologists, and 1 Breast Imaging Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Help in covering Mammography and Women's Imaging.

Compensation

• Faculty appointment will be commensurate with years of service and accomplishment.
• Compensation is competitive and proportionate with qualifications and excellent fringe benefits.
• Compensation range from $456,000 to $506,000 (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits).
• Full time salary is as follows: Board Eligible- $456,000; Board Certified- $481,000; Board Certified and ACGME Fellowship- $506,000.

Requirements

• Must be Board certified/eligible in Radiology.
• Must be licensed to practice in the State of New York.
• Must be Board certified/eligible in radiology/Interventional Radiology and have successfully completed a Fellowship in Interventional Radiology.
