Ensuring platform integrity, the full-time remote Malware and Abuse Engineer will monitor, investigate, and remediate malware, spam, and abuse issues while keeping customers informed and collaborating with internal teams to enhance detection tools. Key responsibilities Monitor, investigate, and resolve malware, spam, and IP blocklisting issues, including DMCA notices Write and document new malware signature rules for customer scanning tools Collaborate with internal teams to improve malware detection and remediation processes Required qualifications Fluency in English with excellent written communication skills Experience detecting and resolving intricate malware infections, particularly in PHP and JavaScript Familiarity with WordPress, including its database and file structures Comfort working in a command line environment Professionalism and reliability in a distributed team setting
