Major Gifts Officer - TX

To build and execute a comprehensive major gifts fundraising strategy, the full-time salaried Major Gifts Officer - TX will manage a portfolio of high-capacity donors across multiple states, focusing on securing significant gifts to support the organization's mission while working remotely from the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Key responsibilities Secure five-, six-, and seven-figure gifts from individuals and family foundations within a multi-state territory Manage a portfolio of 75 donors, leveraging wealth analytics to identify and cultivate new prospects Maintain an active schedule of moves management to engage and steward donors through various communication methods Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred 5+ years of experience in individual, foundation, and corporate giving, including frontline fundraising Demonstrated ability to engage new major gift prospects and adapt to changing organizational needs Solid knowledge of IRS guidelines for charitable contributions and charity accountability standards Proficiency in using donor database software and Microsoft Office Suite
