You'll be:Performing preventative maintenance on industrial production equipment to ensure reliability and safety.Maintaining, repairing, and lubricating machinery and equipment, including pipe systems, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.Completing scheduled preventative maintenance for fire safety, emergency lighting, eyewash stations, and facility equipment.Assisting in the installation of new equipment and processes in collaboration with the engineering team.Documenting maintenance and repair tasks in maintenance software and maintaining spare parts inventory.Coordinating with outside vendors for specialized repairs and maintenance.Operating machine tools (lathe, surface grinder, drill, milling machine) to fabricate or repair simple parts.Safely utilizing ladders, scissor lifts, and forklifts, and adhering to all safety practices.Communicating status and coordinating work with other departments to minimize production disruptions.This job might be an outstanding fit if you:Have at least 5 years of mechanical experience with industrial equipment (required).Possess mechanical or machining trade/vocational education and/or facilities/industrial maintenance experience.Can operate machine shop equipment such as Bridgeport, lathe, or similar (preferred).Have basic knowledge of large HP mechanical drive systems, pumps, valves, and piping.Are able to read blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.Bring basic computer literacy and strong organizational/documentation skills.Are able to stand, walk, climb ladders, and lift/move up to 100 pounds as needed.Have strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills with attention to detail.Electrical experience in an industrial setting is a plus.Welding and carpentry skills are also preferred.Once you apply, you'll proceed to next steps if your skills and experience look like a good fit.
