Maintenance WorkerThe purpose of this position is to repair and maintain grounds and facilities as part of a team for the Brazos River Authority (BRA). This is accomplished by monitoring facilities for cleanliness; providing grounds maintenance; preserving quality road conditions; repairing and maintaining structures, buildings, and fences, and assisting with new construction projects on BRA property. Other responsibilities include landscaping; mowing; trimming trees; repairing and replacing pipes; providing general maintenance services as needed; serving as backup convenience station operator; and any other duties as assigned.Job RequirementsMinimum one year experience or equivalent combination of educationValid Texas Class C Driver's License and Good Driving RecordPreferred: Class B Driver's LicenseHigh School Diploma - Awarded for the completion of High School.Key CompetenciesDemonstrating self-motivation; effective performance is driven from within rather than being conditional on pressure from external factors (e.g.
