Join us!Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesConducts plumbing and carpentry repairs as necessaryChecks facility doors and performs repairs as necessaryProvides basic mechanical and maintenance repairs as necessaryAbility to perform paint and dry wall repairs (including patching, sanding, and repainting)Troubleshoots various maintenance problems around the facility and performs repairs as necessaryEnsures that all job assignments are completed as instructed to 100% dailyResponsible for completion of assigned job unless released by supervisorResponsible for keeping the maintenance shop clean and orderly, tools and equipment is stored properlyNotifies supervisor if equipment needs repair or supplies are lowFollows facility dress code and grooming standardsFollows established safety guidelines and maintains a safe working environmentAttends to and conforms to the policies established by SMG and the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment CenterReports all damages to immediate supervisor, created or found, while performing daily responsibilitiesProvide daily and maintain the following personal hand tools – List to be provided by Supervisor & is subject to changes and or additionsSupervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position does not have supervisory responsibilities.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
