JT4, LLC Engineering and Technical SupportJT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.Job Summary - Essential FunctionsWorking under moderate supervision of the work unit Lead, the incumbent must have a general knowledge of maintenance trades (i.e. electrical, structural, carpentry and/or plumbing assemblies) with moderate-level skills and knowledge of Electrical systems, to effect repairs of facilities, machinery, mechanical equipment, and other related subsystems.
Work is performed in accordance with pertinent guides and regulations.Employee will be responsible to perform the following functions/duties:Install, maintain, or repair any variety of electrical equipment for the generation, distribution, or utilization of electric energyExamine blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications to locate and diagnose trouble in the electrical system or equipmentWork standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipmentUse of hand tools, measuring, and testing instruments specific to the electrical tradePerform all other position-related duties as assigned or requestedRequirements - Education, Technical, and Work ExperienceThe incumbent most possess a high school diploma or equivalent and completed training as part of a formal apprenticeship program. Incumbent must have two years of directly related work experience with demonstrated proficiency in the Electrical trade discipline. General knowledge of additional maintenance trades with limited experience.In addition, a Maintenance Trades Specialist I Electrical must possess the following qualifications:Must possess a working knowledge of the technical terminology and language structure related to a variety of electrical and mechanical equipment/systems supported by the work unitMust have basic personal computer skills and knowledge of applications software and database usage sufficient to maintain records and filesMust have good verbal and written communication skillsMust possess a valid, state issued driver's licenseMust be able to obtain and maintain security clearanceMust be a U.S. citizenSalaryThe expected salary range for this position is $75,400 to $84,000 annually.Note: The salary range offered for this position is a good faith description of the expected salary range this role will pay.
