Uniforms + $120 boot stipend – client has you covered.Scope of Role: Work with grinders, deburring, change out dies, welding (MIG/TIG), some light electrical maintenance. Operate all shop machine tools and hand tools.
Maintain and manufacture tools, dies, and fixtures accurately to provide quality components at peak efficient levels. Apply shop math and use measuring devices. Reviews and implements tool & die maintenance program with emphasis on preventive/predictive maintenance. Conducts periodic surveys to evaluate and identify tool & die maintenance repair needs and timing. Inspects, cleans, and performs routine maintenance work.
Maintains and repairs tool & die maintenance and shop equipment (corrective maintenance). Updates reports, analyzes data, and make recommendations for improving tool & dies and solving maintenance-related problems. Communicate directly with tool & die supervisor to coordinate maintenance repair work in process areas. Maintains safety, health, and environmental in all work policies and procedures. Any other duty as needed to perform job.Your Background: Tool & Die experience with stamping or blanking dies is preferred.
CAD experience a plus. Overhead crane operations a plus. Welding experience a plus.
