Maintenance TechnicianThe Maintenance Technician is the one who makes sure our facilities and equipment don't fall apart (literally). From installing and troubleshooting to fixing and maintaining, you'll be keeping things running smoothly and safely—whether it's a leaky faucet, a flickering light, or a faulty HVAC unit. You'll take care of the building itself just as much as the equipment inside, ensuring our entire facility stays in top shape.

Because when you succeed, we all succeed!What You'll DoSaves the day by tracking maintenance Help Desk requests and working requests into daily schedule.Manage workflow to ensure deadlines are met, conducting follow-up on outstanding repairs related to prior maintenance visits.Obtain materials, equipment and supplies for repairs (This is a great time to whip out those treasure hunting skills).Keep the lines open with the maintenance squad and supervisor, so you're all on the same page about what's priority.
No one wants to be the last one to know the AC's busted!Complete paperwork related to compliance, repairs and maintenance- because we all know compliance doesn't wait, and neither does the filing cabinet!Keep the grounds looking sharp, nothing says "we've got it together" like a pristine parking lot.Handle safety and hazardous materials like a pro, making sure you're on the up-and-up with EPA and DEQ guidelines.Check on goals and completion like you check the oil in a car—regularly, and with purpose.Whip up some snazzy status reports for the monthly maintenance meeting, so everyone knows what's been fixed, what's still busted, and what's next.Prepare credit card expense reports for Accounts Payable and review fuel system compliance reports/issues.What You'll NeedAbility to learn new concepts and stay organized, maintaining a high level of attention to detail while multitasking (there are a lot of moving pieces and skunks headed in every direction!).Solution-focused thinking. We get 5 minutes to complain and then we kick tail!You don't have to be a tech guru, but being comfortable using technical equipment such as laptops, cell phones, and remote devices is appreciated.RequirementsMust be at least 18 years of age – Sorry, We don't make the rules… or law.Must have a working knowledge of construction and maintenance trades, as well as their applications.Armed with knowledge about OSHA, EPA, OPS, ADA, Hazmat, and federal/state regulations- like a walking encyclopedia, but more fun.You don't need to be an Olympic athlete, but you do need the ability to lift up to 90 lbs., balance on a step stool or step ladder, and be comfortable working from floor to roof level.A valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and a passion for sightseeing- as there will be travel between multiple Stinker locations!Must consent to and pass a background check- how else are we supposed to know if you're 3 skunks in a trench coat or not?Stinker is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
