Maintenance TechnicianAs a member of the Facility Services team, the Maintenance Technician will work to maintain the safe and efficient operation of building systems, as well as maintain the appearance of the facilities.SHIFT: Wednesday thru Friday 1pm - 9:30pm and Saturday and Sunday 8am - 4:30pmKey Areas of ResponsibilityLight repair and maintenance of building equipment including but not limited to doors, floors, walls, ceilings, light fixtures, plumbing fixtures, roofs, irrigation, locks and keys, etc.May assist and/or perform inspections, conduct periodic general preventive maintenance, or operate building mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire life safety systemsFill out daily equipment logs as directed and perform visual inspections of all building mechanical and life safety equipment to ensure normal operationRespond to, prioritize and complete assigned work orders via the Workspeed work order tracking systemDaily coordination and communications with tenants, customers and building visitorsComply with all applicable codes, regulations, and company directives as relates to building operations and practice safe work habitsBe courteous, neat, clean, and in proper uniform; always representing the Company in a professional, moral, and ethical mannerTeam support and coverage as neededEducation, Experience and Skills RequiredMinimum 1-year maintenance experience, preferably in a commercial office environmentPossess basic competent knowledge on the methods, tools, and equipment used in the commercial building general or light maintenanceMust be proficient in the use of a personal computer, handheld communication deviceAbility to interact with co-workers, tenants, contractors, and the general public in a positive and professional mannerAbility to prioritize workloadMust possess a current valid driver's licenseMay require availability to be on-call on weekends, as well as require availability to work after hours for scheduled/emergency maintenance functionPhysical Demand RequirementsAbility to climb up and down stairs and ladders and work standing all day.Ability to access remote work areas, i.e., crawl spaces, roofs.Ability to utilize full manual dexterity (i.e. sitting, squatting, bending, crawling, kneeling, lifting, walking, manipulating tools with limbs extended).Must be able to work in these conditions: Indoors 80%, Outdoors 20%Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs., climb ladders, work in hazardous environments, such as construction sites, and work in all types of weather.Other RequirementsValid driver license preferredWill be required to work evenings; holidays and weekends to ensure coverageBenefits/PerksCompetitive salary commensurate with experience.Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance.401(k) retirement savings plan with company match.Opportunities for professional development and advancement.
