Power Industrial Vehicle Maintenance TechnicianBuild Your Career with Ashley!$21.37-$28.36 (willing to increase with experience)What Will You Do?The PIV Maintenance Technician will provide preventive maintenance in support of department and company goals. This position will conduct preventive maintenance processes and procedures while providing the necessary technical expertise that achieves and increasingly affects operation.Upkeep, maintenance, and repair of all PIV equipmentEffectively manage conflicting priorities for PIV repairWork closely with all supervisors and managers to ensure all troubleshooting equipment errors will be corrected quicklyOversee PIV preventive maintenance for entire facilityOrder all necessary supplies from approved vendors through MRO purchasing, coordinate urgency, and priority with purchasingWhat Do You Need?2-year degree in an electrical-mechanical or similar focus, preferredPrior experience with PIV maintenanceWell-rounded electrical and mechanical backgroundElectrical experience including repairs of broken wires, fatigues switches, etc.Knowledge of working with hydraulic and pneumatic systemsAbility to use all shop tools, and testing and measuring equipmentAbility to run an electric meterSpare Parts and Inventory Management:Maintain an accurate inventory of spare parts and tools necessary for maintenance and repair work.Keep accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and part replacements.Documentation and Reporting:Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities.Use computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track and complete maintenance work orders.Contribute ideas for improvements in all areas using the appropriate means of communication.Team Collaboration:Work closely with operations and production teams to understand and address maintenance needs.Collaborate with external service providers and vendors for specialized maintenance and repair tasks.Provide training and guidance to junior maintenance staff as needed.Demonstrate the Company's Core and Growth Values in performance of all job functions.Who We AreAt Ashley, we're more than a business…we're family.
