Maintenance TechnicianEastridge Workforce Solutions is hiring for a contract-to-hire Maintenance Technician opportunity with a growing manufacturing company in the Phoenix area. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing the mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of factory equipment and machinery. The Maintenance Technician will help maximize equipment performance, reduce production downtime, and support preventive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives. If you're looking to grow your skills in a hands-on, safety-focused manufacturing environment, this could be the right opportunity for you.Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems for production equipment. Conduct preventive maintenance, routine inspections, and major equipment rebuilds. Troubleshoot equipment issues, identify root causes, and complete effective repairs. Repair or replace electrical components as needed.

Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Assist with upgrades and improvements to process-control systems as new technologies are introduced. Maintain knowledge of current and emerging control systems and industrial maintenance practices. Accurately complete required maintenance paperwork and electronic documentation. Work closely with production and other departments to minimize equipment downtime. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Perform additional duties as assigned.High school diploma or GED required. At least one year of maintenance experience required; three to five years of industrial maintenance experience is strongly preferred. Associate degree in Maintenance, Industrial Technology, or a related field is preferred. Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and best practices. Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with employees at all levels of the organization. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift as required in a manufacturing environment. Comfortable working around industrial equipment and in areas with varying temperatures. Reliable attendance, punctuality, and dependable transportation are required. Ability to work overtime or weekends as operational needs require.
