Position: Maintenance Technician Level 3
Openings: 2 (1 – 2nd shift, 1 – 3rd shift)
Location: Owosso, MI 48867
Hours: 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM–11:30 PM | 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM–7:30 AM | Monday–Friday with some weekend work. Currently averaging every other weekend. Maintenance technicians may also come in on weekends for preventive maintenance.
Hours/Week: Approximately 50 hours per week
Pay Rate/Salary: 33/h – 38/h
2nd shift premium- $1.50
3rd shift premium-$1.00

Must Haves
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Electrical troubleshooting experience, including basic PLC troubleshooting/diagnostics
- Experience with AC/DC motors, drives, and power distribution
- Ability to read electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical drawings
- Experience performing preventive and reactive maintenance
- Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Arc Flash, and industrial safety procedures
- Experience using electrical test equipment, including voltmeters, ammeters, ohm meters, and meggers
- Experience supporting manufacturing or production equipment
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed and participate in on-call rotations

- PLC controls experience
- Technical/vocational training in electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems
- Plastics manufacturing or plastics processing experience
- Millwright background
- Strong hydraulic systems experience
- Servo drive and motion control experience
- CMMS planning and scheduling experience
- Root Cause Analysis and Continuous Improvement experience
Day to Day
- Troubleshoot and repair extrusion and manufacturing equipment
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment issues
- Troubleshoot PLC-related issues and escalate complex controls problems when needed
- Manage work orders and maintenance schedules within the CMMS
- Order replacement parts and coordinate with vendors as needed
- Support production uptime and minimize equipment downtime
- Mentor and support junior maintenance technicians
- Participate in continuous improvement and plant safety initiatives
- Provide on-call and weekend maintenance coverage as needed
