Maintenance Technician (PLC / Industrial Maintenance)We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and machinery to ensure maximum efficiency and minimal downtime.This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with PLC experience, electrical troubleshooting skills, and mechanical aptitude who are looking for long-term stability and career growth.Training & ScheduleTraining: First 2 weeks, Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PMPost-Training: Transition to night shift scheduleOvertime may be required based on production needsKey ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and PLC-controlled equipmentPerform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment lifeProgram and troubleshoot PLC systemsFabricate and weld components as neededMaintain and repair production machinery and automated systemsManage and order MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) parts and suppliesRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawingsMaintain accurate maintenance logs and documentationEnsure compliance with safety and environmental regulationsCollaborate with team members and assist senior technicians as neededQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredMinimum 2+ years of industrial maintenance experienceExperience with PLC troubleshooting and programmingStrong electrical and mechanical skillsKnowledge of welding and fabricationFamiliarity with MRO processes and inventory managementAbility to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematicsStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilitiesProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Excellent communication and teamwork skillsEQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER: Surge is an equal opportunity employer.
