If you're a dependable maintenance professional who values quality workmanship and enjoys making a difference for residents every day, we'd love to meet you.As a Residential Maintenance Technician, you'll play a vital role in maintaining our multi-family community by ensuring apartments, common areas, and grounds are safe, clean, and well-maintained. Every day brings something new—from repairing drywall and preparing apartments for new residents to responding to maintenance requests and helping keep our community looking its best.What You'll DoPerform general maintenance and repairs in apartments and common areasPrepare apartments for new residents, including: Drywall repairPainting and caulkingCarpet cleaning and minor repairsComplete basic plumbing, carpentry, and electrical repairsRespond promptly to resident maintenance requests and emergency service callsMaintain the property's curb appeal through: Trash removalLight landscaping, including watering and weedingSnow and ice removal during inclement weatherHelp keep maintenance shops, storage areas, and shared spaces organized and cleanOccasionally assist with cleaning apartments and common areasWork closely with the Maintenance Superintendent and Property Manager to prioritize and complete daily tasksUse your own hand tools to perform assigned maintenance workWhat We're Looking ForAt least 1 year of general maintenance experience, including some combination of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, or paintingStrong troubleshooting and repair skills across multiple tradesAbility to work independently while contributing to a collaborative teamExcellent organizational and time-management skillsA customer-focused attitude and professional communication with residentsMust provide your own basic hand toolsWhat Makes You a Great FitReliable, proactive, and takes initiativeTakes pride in producing high-quality workEnjoys working both indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditionsAble to respond calmly and efficiently to urgent maintenance situationsCommitted to creating a clean, safe, and welcoming community for residentsWhy Join BPG Real Estate Services?At BPG Real Estate Services, you'll be part of a team that values craftsmanship, professionalism, and exceptional resident service.
