Maintenance TechnicianWe are seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians to support production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of equipment through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform maintenance activities in compliance with OSHA and safety standardsInstall, repair, and maintain equipment such as motors, pumps, gearboxes, and mechanical drivesDiagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issuesRepair or replace components including relays, switches, circuit boards, and motorsAdjust, align, and calibrate machinery for optimal performanceComplete preventive maintenance tasks to reduce downtimeDocument maintenance work and equipment performance in tracking systemsCommunicate equipment status and updates to production and leadership teamsMaintain a clean, organized work environment following 5S standardsSupport a wide range of maintenance activities as neededQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredAssociate's degree or technical training preferred2–5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferredStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsBasic computer skills and ability to document workAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWillingness to work overtime as neededSkills & AbilitiesStrong mechanical and electrical aptitudeAbility to analyze issues and implement effective solutionsGood organizational and time management skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and safetyPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift and move 50+ lbsAbility to stand, walk, climb stairs, and move throughout the facilityAbility to handle tools, equipment, and machinery componentsStrong communication skills for team collaborationEQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER: Surge is an equal opportunity employer.
