Maintenance TechnicianThis position is responsible for the overall maintenance ensuring that all facilities are safe, clean, and fully operational. In addition, the role involves monitoring, inspecting, and performing routine maintenance on all shop machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance, prevent downtime, and address any mechanical or operational issues promptly. The position requires close attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and collaboration with other team members to support efficient operations and maintain a high standard of facility and equipment readiness at all times.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Monitor and maintain all electrical and mechanical equipment to ensure it is operating properlyResponsible for maintaining production and support equipment (systems: electrical, control and mechanical)Interpret engineering drawings and schematics to maintain the operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment of complex partsManage the preventative maintenance schedule and complete work orders as scheduledTroubleshoot equipment malfunctions and system failures, and perform corrective maintenance and repairs in a timely and effective manner.Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.Assist in the maintenance and repair of mobile equipment, including loaders, trucks, and rail equipment.Inspect equipment for defects, wear, and damage, and perform necessary repairs or replacements.Operate a variety of hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment, to perform maintenance tasks.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment inspections, and repairs.Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed in compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.Assist in the management of spare parts inventory, ensuring that critical parts are readily available.Participate in safety meetings, training programs, and emergency response drills.Implement and coordinate preventative maintenanceRefurbish, modify and install production support equipment as necessaryKeep work area and machinery clean and free of clutterCross-train on multiple types of equipmentPerform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor or ManagementCross training with Samples Auto Line EquipmentLine Changeovers, Water System's, Dust Collectors, ETCQualifications and Skills:Ability to become certified in forklift and overhead crane operationAbility to become certified in Aerial lift and Fall ProtectionAbility to become certified in Lockout Tag-outAbility to become certified in Chemical HandlingAbility to use measuring equipmentAbility to safely operate an overhead JIB cranesIndependent self-starter requiring little to no supervisionExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAttention to detail in fast-paced work environmentStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilitiesTeam player with the ability to collaborate across departmentsTime management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectivelyUnderstanding of workplace safety protocols and proceduresAbility to speak and read English sufficiently to converse with the general public, read and understand highway signs/signals, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports/recordsBasic computer skillsBasic math skillsCritical thinking skillsExcellent organizational skillsMinimum Requirements:Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.Experience: 2+ years Manufacturing maintenance experienceSystems: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace preferredPhysical Requirements:Work at varying heights, including on the rooftop of the buildingsLift up to 60 lbs.Push/pull 100 lbs.Stand on feet for long periods of time during a shift for up to 12 hours, with intermittent breaksWear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by CambriaParticipate in daily stretch and flex exercisesWork in an outdoor environment in all weather conditionsWalk up and down steps multiple times throughout shiftBend over multiple times throughout shiftTask Based Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:Steel toed bootsHearing ProtectionSafety glassesCut-proof glovesLatex glovesFace shieldHigh visibility vestRespiratorCambria's starting hourly range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00 .
